Replace, don't refinish
Refinishing sprays a coating over the old tub. It can look good for a while, but coatings can peel and chip, especially in a tub that gets daily use. Replacing the tub gives you a new, solid surface and lets us check what's underneath.
When we replace a bathtub, we remove the old tub and walls, inspect the floor and framing for water damage, and install a new tub with a grout-free wall surround. We finish with new Delta fixtures in the finish you choose.

Usually the tile has to come out to remove the tub without damage, and it's the right time to get rid of grout. We'll look at your setup at the estimate and give you options.
